Note! If you've received a text with a link to the domain redeemlink.com then this isn't from us. We don't send any texts or do any contests and it's most likely a scam so you shouldn't give them any information. Unfortunately they have a similar name as one of our features so our page might turn up on google if you search for their name. We don't have anything in common with the persons behind that scam and they don't use our software either.
How does it work?
Coupon Carrier allows you to upload a list of unique codes and then place a custom link in your email. When this link is clicked the subscriber is redirected to a landing page that shows their unique code. The first time the link is clicked Coupon Carrier will assign one of the unique codes to that subscriber. The next time they click the link they will see the same code so they won’t receive new codes each time they click the link. This link is also tamper proof so they can’t change the link to receive new codes.
The landing page can be customized with your logotype, message and optionally a button to link to your store. The button link can also include the unique code so that it can be attached to your store link if you have support for that.
Customize your landing page
On the Redeem Link tab you can customize the look of your landing page. Add a link to your logotype, enter a message and optionally add a button that links to your store.
The last option named Code renewal is a feature that allows a new code to be assigned to the same subscriber via the same link if a set number of days has passed since the last time they received a code. In this case you want to send the same email, with the same link, each year to your subscribers. If this feature isn’t used they will never receive a new code, instead they would see the same code a year later since they already have a code assigned to them.
To use this for our birthday email we need to set it to around 300 days to make sure that by the time the next email is sent a new code will be allowed and assigned. Let’s enable Code renewal and set it to 300 days.
Once the settings are saved you can preview the landing page by clicking the Preview landing page button.
Add your list of unique codes
The integration is now configured and the last step before testing everything is to make sure that you’ve added some unique codes, Otherwise Coupon Carrier has nothing to distribute to your new subscribers. Remember that Coupon Carrier can’t generate the codes, you need to provide them.
How you generate a list of discount codes in your store depends on which platform you’re using. Contact the support of your E-Commerce platform to get help with that. Once you have a list of codes you can open the Add Codes tab and choose to import a file (.csv) or paste your codes. If you’re going to paste the codes then make sure that you only have one discount code per line and nothing else on each line.
For each code you import you need one credit. Each account codes with 25 credits for testing purposes. If you need to add more credits you can do so by clicking the Buy more credits button to the right.
